About Us

Adept Knowledge Management commenced trading in Q4, 2002. The company was founded by Colin Balchin who is also the company director.

The principals of Adept Knowledge Management and its associates have provided project management, maintenance management and IT-based training to businesses, non-government organisations and universities since 1992. As a result we provide:

  • Project management training and consultancy
  • Knowledge management and e-learning development
  • Competence assessment and management solutions
  • Expert witness services

Adept offers a wide range of project management and related training courses. We also offer training in industry standard software including Primavera P3 and SureTrack, MS Project, Excel & Access, @Risk and Crystal Ball.

Work recently undertaken by Adept has included:

  • Project audits
  • Development of project management processes and manual
  • Delivery of training courses in project management and risk analysis
  • Consultancy in risk analysis
  • Development of e-learning prototypes and tools, competence assessment systems and candidate management systems.

Adept has an exceptionally well-rounded team of people with myriad skills and experience in teaching, training, content creation, and delivery. With more than 60 man-years of teaching and training plus some further 8 man-years of e-Learning experience
